History and vision

Portal Nekretnine Hrvatska (Portal Real-estates Croatia) was first published in summer 2006. as the result of complete lack of of any quality portal on Croatian market that would provide comprehensive list of ads, easy-to-use search engine and marking of "dead ads".

Founded by several enthusiastic "boys from garage", otherwise professional programmers and portal designers, who were seeking to find apartments themselves and who felt on their own skin all flaws of then available real-estate portals and real-estate ad sites.
An idea to help people who are searching for a real-estate was a logical next step: memories of nightmare of searching for their own apartments and houses were still fresh, the need for fast and accurate access to information listed in real-estate ads was clear.

Observing today available portals and ad sites, their the most prominent flaw is distortion of your query by promoting paid ads. This is something that we won't ever allow, as it is against the reason why we made such portal in the first place.

Our wish is to provide users of our portal exactly the kind of answer as it is expected, without any distortions or distractions. On the other hand, we want to provide accurate information to the users without any censorship.
For that reason, we also started a forum on our portal, where we envisioned our users to help each other by exchanging good and bad experiences and warn each others of various trap one can come accross when purchasing real-estates.

We also hope thet our forum will facilitate communication and increase trust and understanding between real-estate agencies and their clients. Of course, on the forum, purchasers can also make their subjective opinion of individual agencies, helping them choosing an agency the may represent him in real-estate purchase.
